On 20 August 2026, Unleashed brought together leading decision-makers, innovators and drivers of change from across the Nordics and the Baltics in Stockholm. Under the theme “The Next Play”, the summit turned its focus from ambition to action: how the region can navigate a changing geopolitical landscape, strengthen its competitiveness and translate shared values into shared capability.

For one full day, leaders from business, politics, defence, technology and civil society gathered for candid conversations about the choices shaping the region’s next chapter. Discussions ranged from European security and the transatlantic relationship to growth, investment, infrastructure, AI and the resilience of open societies.

Throughout the summit, conversations explored what a more uncertain and competitive world demands of the Nordics and the Baltics. Across the day, one message emerged clearly: the region has considerable strengths to build on, but realising their potential will require greater cooperation, a willingness to take risks and the ability to turn ideas into action.
